Tracy Letts: How To Live A Creative Life
I'm fortunate to call Tracy Letts a dear friend. Aside from being an astonishing actor and brilliant writer - he is simply one of the most decent, kind, and generous people you will ever meet. He suffers no fools and his clear eyed ( a good humored) about his approach to writing and creating.
A long time member of The Steppenwolf Theater Company, where he developed and premiered his Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning epic August: Osage County, Tracy continues his commitment to the stage as both an actor and a writer.
Tracy's newest play, Mary Page Marlowe starring his wife, the amazing Carrie Coon (HBO's The Leftovers), will premiere at Steppenwolf this March.
A few years back, Tracy gave a talk at Chicago Ideas Week. The subject was how to live a creative life. Tracy attacked the subject with his usual wit and charm.
